We report two cases of placenta accreta during the first trimester of pregnancy, one of them presented as a systemic inflammatory response syndrome and the other as an abnormal uterine bleeding. There are few cases reported in the literature of placenta accreta during the first trimester of gestation, some of which required hysterectomy. To consider this entity within the differential diagnosis of uterine bleeding during the first trimester of pregnancy could lead to a prompt treatment diminishing its complications.Author Biographies
