Trombosis-Trombofilia en alto riesgo obstétrico

Se realiza una revisión que comprende la asociación entre trombofilias maternas y tromboembolismo venoso, aborto, preeclampsia, abruptio, restricción del crecimiento intrauterino y mortinatos. Además, se hace énfasis en los factores predisponentes, los métodos diagnósticos, la vigilancia, la profilaxis y el tratamiento de la enfermedad tromboembólica.
Se hace hincapié en las heparinas de bajo peso molecular (HBPM) como los medicamentos de elección en la tromboprofilaxis y el tratamiento durante la gestación.
Finalmente, se hacen recomendaciones acerca del tratamiento de algunas situaciones especiales en alto riesgo obstétrico: manejo de la mujer embarazada con válvulas cardíacas mecánicas y el manejo de las embarazadas con riesgo incrementado para tromboembolismo venoso y pérdidas gestacionales.
