Existen multitud de operaciones diseñadas para controlar la incontinencia de esfuerzo en la mujer; esto indica la gran incertidumbre acerca del mecanismo de esa patología y la incapacidad de las muchas técnicas mencionadas para controlar adecuadamente el problema.
