El uso de terapia hormonal anticonceptiva, ha suscitado incertidumbre, tanto en el sector científico como en el popular, por ser posiblemente responsable de originar fenómenos secundarios adversos, tales como lesiones orgánicas, hepáticas, trastornos del metabolismo de los glúcidos y coagulación intravascular (1,2,3).
