Los problemas derivados de las alteraciones del mecanismo normal de la coagulación constituyen en obstetricia un capítulo de especial interés que ha sido motivo de numerosas investigaciones (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30), que por sus manifestaciones abruptas y severas se ha incluído dentro del grupo de las eh1ergencias obstétricas.
