Inmunología de la reproducción inmunoterapia del aborto espontáneo

Después del descubrimiento de los antígenos de histocompatibilidad, a mediados de este siglo, el fenómeno de la reproducción de los mamíferos se convirtió en un enigma que rompe las leyes aceptadas del reconocimiento de lo propio y lo extraño, que son la clave de la respuesta y la tolerancia inmunológicas. Si bien la reproducción de los mamíferos ha atraído la atención de biólogos y filósofos desde la antigüedad, fue solamente a partir de la formulación de las leyes de histocompatibilidad, cuando se pudieron plantear preguntas y formular hipótesis con relación a las interacciones entre la madre y el feto.
