La sexualidad humana y el médico

En este artículo se describe la sexualidad humana propiamente dicha (función erótica), una actividad característica del hombre e independiente de la función reproductora cuyo estudio ha sido ignorado por la medicina. Se hace también un relato de la influencia negativa de la moral tradicional sobre el conocimiento de la función erótica, y un esbozo del desarrollo de la sexología científica. Para concluir, el autor subraya la importancia de los estudios sexuales en la formación del médico, y la necesidad de incluirlos en los currículos de las escuelas de medicina.
