Diagnóstico precoz del embarazo, estado actual, perspectivas futuras

Se ponen en consideración las pruebas de laboratorio para el diagnóstico del embarazo, haciendo énfasis en la importancia que tiene el hacerlo precozmente.
Se hace una breve reseña histórica y una presentación de las bases biológicas que existen para establecerlas y comprenderlas, así́ como un análisis de cada una de ellas desde el punto de vista práctico, su aplicabilidad en nuestro medio, su sensibilidad, como también su interpretación y causas de error.
Finalmente, se presentan las pruebas que a nuestro juicio están próximas a pasar de la etapa de investigación a la práctica corriente.
